J'ai lâché un!

Cedric got up from his seat and stood and looked at the baarat on the street. A wedding, I told him. I asked him if he ever wanted to get married, and he said no. When I asked him why not, he said ok, maybe he would get married. Does he want a big Indian wedding with the turbans and music and an Indian girl? He responded no, if he gets married to an Indian girl, the Indians would beat him up.
He may or may not be dyslexic, but his rhythm when he plays the drum is incredible and he CAN dance, shoulders and feet in harmony with the soul, and then he sings African songs to himself while he rolls his imaginary car on the floor.

He liked for his picture to be taken. And when he got excited, he went in a fit of hugs.
Sometimes, he’d get a bit away from you, and say “J’ai lâché un”. Fart.
On Thursday, I babysat for the first time. Not that I’m good at it or could get used to it, but I had a really fun day with Cedric.
