Entre les vagues

I played with the waves today
When a small wave came my way
I made myself big
And saw the wave caress me under my face
Sometimes it gently slapped my face

When a big wave came my way
I made myself small
And went under the water
And it passed over me
Sometimes it rolled me within it
And made me turn round
Until I rose above the water again

Big waves came in succession
As did the calmness of the sea come in succession…
